After a few morning projects, we headed to the pool and jacuzzi. Now that were rested, we took the shuttle over to Turning Stone Casino. We played some video poker and checked out the tables.

We have more Lazy Lakes friends we are visiting today. Gil and Betty are about 70 miles from us and off the grid in the Adirondacks by Croghan NY. We drove up and got to their camp around 2pm.
They have a great set up on a beautiful lake with a house. No electric but it works out fine with the generator. They pump water from the lake and then filter it. We met their neighbors and good friends Brad and Sheri. I think we have met them before at Lazy Lakes, but not sure. We also met their grandson Gil and great grandson Dean. Brad and Sheri took us on their pontoon boat out on the lakes.
We all relaxed by a nice fire and then had a great dinner of steaks, potatoes and great cauliflower. It was still light so we headed home. Thank you Gil, Betty, Brad and Sheri. We had a great day and will see you back at Lazy Lakes.
Today we headed 150 miles to the Villages RV Park at Turning Stone Casino in Verona NY. We are taking a time-out and staying 9 nights.
We had breakfast with Pete and Tina at the Cleverdale Country Store. This is owned by their daughter Meagan which we met a few times. I had a great pulled corned beef hash and eggs. Now Pete and Tina took us on a boat ride on Lake George. We did an end run which means we went from the south side of the lake to the north side at Ticonderoga. Along the way we saw a jumping rock, many beautiful islands and mountains. We made it the 35 miles each way and then did the turnaround. On the return we went by the Sagamore Resort, saw some rock climbers and then did a stop at the Algonquin Bar and Grill in Bolton’s Landings for a few cocktails overlooking the lake. We continued on and got back to Pete and Tina’s. We had a great day and a great time with Pete, Tina and their family and friends.
