The fishing fools were at it again, they were out by 630am.  I did my harmonica practice and just relaxed and did some reading.  We headed to the pool for a while and then walked over to the KOA for Lasagna and pasta dinner.

We took our lake walk and had to collect a glass from Jerry and Chars.  John needed a walkabout and I practiced harmonica, updated our photos, journal and website and did some reading.  Now it’s some pool time and then dinner.  We regrouped and walked over to the KOA to see the band Afterthawt.  They played when we had the benefit for our friend Robin.  Steve and Sue are back and Steve Craigo, Craig and Debi, Joy, Sally and Richard were there.  Chicago Sandy got to jam a couple songs with the band and we did a lot of dancing.

Here we go again, John and Larry were out fishing by 645am.  Today they caught more jacks than snappers.  I took a time-out and did some reading.  In the afternoon, John made salsa and helped me with fish dip.  We had a nice steak dinner and were going to have another easy evening.  Well it didn’t turn out that way.  We decided to get a glass of wine and take a lake walk.
When we were passing by Jerry and Char’s we heard lots of laughing and fun, so we stopped in.  Guess what, a wine party was going on.  Jerry, Char, Ben, Chuck, Douglas, Dale, Caroline were there.  Soon some left and Sally and Larry and others stopped by.  More wine, more wine.  The bottle were empting fast.  Jerry got out his guitar and banjo.  So Jerry and Ben started playing.  I didn’t have my harps but Jerry had some so I started with those.  John went home to get my harps and more wine, but he didn’t return.  I stayed and played for a while and then Larry walked me home.  We had a great time on our wine walk.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  Since we got to bed at 230am we decided to sleep in a while.  When we took our lake walk most people were doing the same thing.  Last night we planned a canoe trip for today.  Gary and Larry decided not to go, so Chuck, Douglas, John and I borrowed 2 canoes from Robin and Wes and headed to the burned out bridge at 2pm.  It was a nice canoe trip.  It took about 1 ¼ hours each way.  At the bridge we took a rest, had a couple beers and then headed back.  Our adventure complete, now we had a couple cocktails in our yard and then a nice easy evening.
