It was a nice morning and we relaxed outside until the rain moved in. We regrouped and took a drive, did a little shopping and then came back and did some reading.
This morning after coffee, we took a walk along the river to where the rail trail meets our campground. We walked a little ways to the bridge and back. Now we are off to explore Mohican State Park. We hiked a 3 mile loop on the Lyons falls trail and then back on the river trail. After our hike we headed home and did some reading.
We were up and on the road by 730am. We have about 300 miles from Grand Island NY (Niagara Falls) to Butler Ohio. We are hunkered down for a week at River Crossing Trail Campground. It’s a small place in the country along the B&O rail trail. We headed into Bellville about 4 miles from us to the River Rock Pub. They have an acoustic guitarist, Taylor Schlupp, playing tonight from 4-7pm. At 7pm it’s still light and the rail trail runs right by the River Rock. John decided to take the trail home. I drove and relaxed outside practicing harmonica and met some of our neighbors.
