John and Sandy's RV Adventure Journal

Sugarloaf Key, FL – 07Jun19 – Key West Day

We did our lake walk and John needed a bike ride. So off he went to Blimp road about 8 miles. We took a time-out afternoon and then headed to Key West.
We kidnapped Sally and first stopped at Capt Tony’s. Our buddy, Bo Fodor is playing. So we hung out for an hour or so and enjoyed his music. He did invite Chicago Sandy up to play “Movin of Over”.
Now on to Turtle Krawls for Billy and the Squid and the Sea Cow Drifters. We had a great table in the shade with a nice breeze on the rooftop overlooking the harbor. These guys are always fun. Billy is a harp player and invited Chicago Sandy up for one. It was so fun. Thanks guys. Jerry’s son (2 1/2 years old) wanted to sing, dance and play ukulele with the band. So he grabbed a mic and he sang rock and roll.
Almost sunset, so we headed to Sunset Pier. Zack Seemiller and Fritz were playing as the sun was setting. Now it’s time to head home. On our walk to the truck, Brad Shudduck was playing at Rick’s so we listened to one and then Caffeine Carl and George Chapman was at the Tuna, so we stayed for one song. Another fun, fun, fun day in Key West.
