The weather is getting better and John and Larry have bait to use so they were out fishing at 6am. They did great and John smoked some fish when they got back. It turned out great. He was in the kitchen making fresh fish dip. This afternoon, Martin is doing is annual Rib Cookout. He has 30 slabs he’s grilling up. We were down there early to watch football, play jokers, have cocktails and help setup. Like potluck, everyone brought a dish and there were about 30-50 people. Now after we ate and cleared stuff down, we watched more football. John and Greg had cigars, Greg got out the Jim Beam and George got out the apple moonshine. So you can imagine we had a good evening.

George came and sat in a few hands.
It’s a cold morning in the keys. Windy and 59 degrees. John and Larry were out fishing at 6am. I slept in until 8am and when I got up it was drizzling. They got back shortly after that with their limit. Peggy needed help assessing her rig that was in the hurricane, so we picked up Larry and her and headed to check it out. It took a while and now she has to contact the insurance. It’s still cold, drizzle and windy. I so bad want to go to Looe Key for Jam Night, but it’s cold, rainy and windy. The roof is still missing and there’s no wind tarps to stop the wind and rain. So we decided to stay home, order pizza and watch tv.
